The regional branch of the Party of Progress and Socialism in Settat said in a statement that it followed with a degree of condemnation what was circulated via a poster bearing the image of its prospective candidate for the upcoming parliamentary elections on September 23, 2026, and its symbol, the book, calling for a vote in his favor, on the social media platform Facebook. The Book Party in Settat pointed out that in connection with this irresponsible and illegal act, the regional branch of the party expresses the following: Its condemnation of this fabricated and deliberate act by unknown parties that excel at fishing in troubled waters and corrupting the democratic electoral process, and aims to involve the party and its candidate in the vortex of the pre-emptive election campaign, which contradicts the laws regulating the electoral process. It expresses clearly and responsibly its complete disavowal of this propaganda poster, stressing that it has no relation to it, near or far, and that such methods have nothing to do with the party's political ethics, based on integrity and fair competition. It affirms that it is not legally or politically responsible for any form of similar electoral propaganda that may be issued in the future, and that it will not allow these practices to pass or be counted against it without follow-up or following the available legal procedures to address them firmly and responsibly, to protect the party and its candidate. The regional branch of the Party of Progress and Socialism in Settat emphasized that all standards, forms of propaganda, and official positions of the party, its institutions, and its structures are issued exclusively by its institutions, through sealed statements, or through its official pages on social media.
