The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for Tuesday, that the weather will be characterized by the continuation of hot weather in the northern and central plains, the Souss region, and the extreme south-east of the country, as well as the southern provinces.
Unstable clouds, accompanied by rain drops or local thunderstorms, are expected to concentrate over the High Atlas mountains and their eastern slopes, and locally in the south of the eastern region and within the Souss region. Low clouds will also form during the morning and night over the Mediterranean coast, and on the coasts between El Jadida and Laayoune, where they will be accompanied by foggy masses or very light local rain. Moderate to strong winds are also expected to be recorded over the Tangier region and some southern provinces, as well as in the south-east of the country, the eastern region, the Atlas Mountains, their western areas and the Sais, with local dust scattering. The minimum temperatures will range between 6 and 13 degrees in the High Atlas mountains, between 13 and 18 degrees in the Rif, the Mediterranean coast, the eastern region, and the southern coasts, and between 24 and 31 degrees in the northern and central plains, the Sais region, the south-east, and the Souss region, as well as in the east and south of the desert provinces, and will be between 18 and 24 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom. As for the temperatures during the day, they will witness a decrease on the central coasts, while they will rise on the southern coasts, and will remain unchanged in the rest of the regions. The sea will be calm to slightly choppy on the Mediterranean coast, and slightly choppy to rough in the Strait of Gibraltar and along the Atlantic coast.
