Cycling League provokes Moroccans and congratulates its cyclist who withdrew from the Paris Olympics

In a provocative move, the Royal Moroccan Cycling Federation congratulated cyclist Ashraf Al-Daghmi, who withdrew from the individual race at the 2024 Paris Olympics and finished his participation in the time trial in 32nd place.

The official page of the University of Cycling published a blog post that read: “Moroccan champion Ashraf Al-Daghmi ranked 32nd in the world in the individual time trial competition for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.”

The university adds in its blog: “Thanks to this, Moroccan cycling enters the adult club and reaches 32nd place out of 203 national federations affiliated to the International Cycling Union.”

Many believe that the Cycling League provoked the Moroccans with this blog, especially since Moroccan cyclist Ashraf Al-Daghmi had withdrawn from the individual race after appearing to suffer from great fatigue following the efforts he made to stay in the leading group, and the damage that struck his bike several times, while he took last place in the time trial.
