Parliament calls for urgent measures to save oases from fires and drought

Parliamentary representative Muhammad Ozin, through a written question from the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forestry, Muhammad Al-Siddiqi, called for urgent measures to protect the oases from the dangers of fires and drought.

Ozen sent a written question to Al-Siddiqi, in which he inquired “about the procedures and measures he will take to enable the oasis areas to benefit from a highway in these arid areas and to connect them to the Mediterranean seafront.”

Ozen asked the same question: “Don’t you see that the oases need a legislative framework that regulates intervention in these areas?

He stressed in his question that this situation “is considered a real threat to the lives of neighboring citizens, given the lack of roads and paths suitable for urgent civil intervention in case of fire prevention, God forbid, and other things that aggravate the population problems and oasis areas already absent from central and territorial public policies.
