The Cherif Al Idrissi Airport in Al Hoceima recorded, until the end of July 2026, an increase of 9.1 percent in passenger traffic compared to the same period last year, with the number of passengers reaching 78,366, compared to 71,821 passengers during the same period in 2025.
International flights topped air transport traffic at the airport, with 61,188 passengers, an increase of 12.8 percent, compared to 17,178 passengers via domestic flights, which recorded a decrease of 2.2 percent. The number of flight movements at the airport also increased by 4.1 percent, reaching 795 movements by the end of July, compared to 763 movements during the same period last year. During July alone, the airport received 20,725 passengers, compared to 18,997 passengers in July 2025, an increase of 9.1 percent. Nationally, air transport traffic at the various airports of the Kingdom reached 22,282,997 passengers by the end of July 2026, recording a growth of 8.77 percent compared to 20,487,074 passengers during the same period of 2025.
