In the Tassila industrial district, affiliated with the Dcheira El Jihadia commune in Inzgane, a massive fire broke out on Tuesday morning inside a warehouse belonging to one of the companies, causing a state of alarm in the area.
Sources from the scene reported that flames spread rapidly inside the warehouse, causing dense columns of smoke to rise. Civil defense elements then intervened with several fire trucks to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to other company facilities and neighboring industrial units.
The fire, according to initial data, resulted in significant material losses affecting a portion of the equipment and stored materials. However, as of the preparation of this report, no human injuries or fatalities were recorded.
Concurrently with the firefighting efforts, security services and local authorities commenced their field procedures. An investigation is expected to be opened to determine the causes and circumstances that led to the outbreak of the fire, and to accurately assess the extent of the losses.
