HIBAPRESS – Salé
The Saïd Haji neighborhood in the city of Salé was shaken by a painful family incident, after a woman was subjected to a serious assault inside her home.
According to the circulating information, the victim, a psychologist and an official holding the rank of Inspector General at the General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration, who works at the Al-Arjat 1 and 2 prisons, sustained serious neck injuries, which necessitated her urgent transfer to the Mohammed V Military Training Hospital in Rabat.
The same information indicates that the victim's son, a young man in his twenties who is a university student, is suspected of being involved in the assault, before he surrendered himself to the security services in the city of Salé.
Once he placed himself at the disposal of the authorities, the young man underwent the standard legal procedures, while the specialized services opened an investigation to ascertain all the details of the incident, determine its circumstances, and the potential motives behind it.
