Daytime marches, nighttime marches, and others in markets, cities, and villages, each singing their own tune…
They boast about their electoral program, and some have pledged to themselves and the citizens of their district and city, determined to fulfill their demands, knowing with certainty that they are being honest with themselves…
If they are honest, they will have a double reward for what they intended…
Some have become adept at the art of oratory and propaganda, promoting their electoral program whose content and substance they do not even know, nor the points listed within it…
And some distribute their electoral lists without photos, without features, and without the identities of the other members of their electoral list…
Some have chosen not to disclose the identities of some members of their list, and have contented themselves with putting the name without the photo, as if it were an invisible ghost, in an unprecedented precedent, which will leave the citizen who casts his vote in a state of confusion, when he doesn't even recognize who will represent him…
Those who chose this pattern of not revealing the photos of some of their candidates argued that it concerns some female candidates who refused to put their photos on electoral posters and advertisements.
Since these contestants for positions of responsibility refuse to reveal their identities, how will they, tomorrow after assuming responsibility, communicate with citizens, when in reality they have not recognized them?
Posters and electoral advertisements for political parties without the features of their owners are astonishing…
However, they have even become rich material on social media sites, where one participant said: "This one who doesn't want to show his face, it's clear that when he wins, he'll run away for good," while another said: "In the spirit of fair competition, the candidate must reveal his identity and his electoral program to the citizens who gave him their votes."
But on the other hand, there are candidates who are considered honorable in electoral programs, sons and youth of the nation, whose honor and positions are the most precious thing they possess, they do not beg people for anything…
Some have voluntarily engaged in meeting the needs of people without "ostentation" or seizing opportunities, and have gone about their business in silence, unlike some who have chosen to publicize themselves by banging drums, demeaning dignity, and perfecting the art of taking photos and distributing them on social media with an electoral flavor.
Our country is going through a pivotal stage, and within the rhythms of election campaigns, some have perfected "unnecessary kissing," which is fundamentally nothing but a symbol of political hypocrisy at banquet tables…
To these, we say that elections are a pivotal stage to block such manifestations, habits, and rituals that have become "a nuisance to people, in colloquial or dialectal language, call it what you will"…
But ultimately, what matters to us is that these competitors bear in mind the interest of the nation, and do not sell illusions by making promises that are not within their core competencies.
