HIBAPRESS – Khalil Fazazi
Khatat Ynja, President of the Dakhla Oued Eddahab Regional Council, received the Consul General of the Republic of Guinea Conakry on Wednesday. The meeting reflects the strong Moroccan-African relations and embodies the importance of parallel diplomacy in enhancing communication and expanding cooperation prospects between the two sides.
The meeting witnessed a symbolic gesture with Khatat Ynja wearing traditional Guinean attire, which was gifted to him by the diplomatic official. This initiative reflects the dimensions of cultural rapprochement and openness to the shared African heritage.
The discussions were an opportunity to review the developmental dynamic in the Dakhla Oued Eddahab region, as well as to highlight the most prominent major structural projects in the region under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI. These projects offer opportunities to enhance the region's economic attractiveness and solidify its position as a rising developmental hub and a strategic gateway for the Kingdom into the African hinterland.
This meeting comes within the framework of efforts to strengthen parallel diplomacy and consolidate cooperation relations between Morocco and African countries by encouraging the exchange of expertise and experiences and exploring partnership opportunities in areas of common interest.
This approach also aligns with Morocco's policy of strengthening South-South cooperation and developing economic and cultural ties with African countries, serving common interests and supporting the continent's development paths.
