HIBAPRESS – Abdel Latif Baraka
The Tata province witnessed a women's protest to express anger over the reality of health services. A group of women headed to a health center that was built in the area, but it remains closed and has not entered into service, despite the residents' need for accessible and available health services.
The protesters raised demands to expedite the opening of the center and enable citizens to benefit from its services, in addition to providing medical and nursing staff and the necessary equipment.
This move comes in the context of ongoing protests in the province demanding the improvement of health services, bringing treatment closer to residents, and reducing the suffering of patients, especially pregnant women and cases that are forced to travel long distances to receive treatment.
