HIBAPRESS – Abdel Latif Barka
As the polling date, scheduled for September 23rd, approaches, Abdel Ghani Kamel, the candidate for the Socialist Union of Popular Forces in the Al Haouz province, continues his field activities across various municipalities, as part of an electoral campaign focused on direct communication with residents and listening to their expectations.
During the current week, the Ittihadi candidate continued his communication meetings. As of yesterday, he had led tours in 39 out of 40 municipalities, a record not achieved by any candidate from competing parties. Party activists, male and female, and its youth participated, during which the contents of the electoral program were presented and demands related to development, social services, and basic infrastructure were heard. This comes in the context of a field tour that included the opening of new party headquarters to enhance communication with citizens.
Abdel Ghani Kamel bases this approach on his experience in local governance, as he is the president of the Sidi Bhaj commune and a member of the Al Haouz Provincial Council's Finance and Budget Committee.
His electoral discourse also focuses on the reconstruction of areas affected by the earthquake, breaking the isolation of mountainous and rural areas, improving health and education services, and strengthening job opportunities and local development. These issues are strongly present in the electoral debate within the province.
With the campaign entering its final phase, the Socialist Union candidate continues his movements between communes and villages, in an attempt to present his program and introduce his experience in local governance, before heading to the polls on September 23rd.
