The talk of a number of citizens in the city of Mohammedia on Wednesday sparked controversy concurrently with the ongoing voting process, after they reported witnessing a person they described as a politician carrying a bag containing money inside a taxi, before he, according to their account, distributed sums of money to a number of individuals.
According to statements circulated at the scene, the incident sparked discontent among some citizens who were present around a polling station, while the talk about it circulated among voters concurrently with the atmosphere of the legislative elections.
The same citizens reported that they contacted security elements who quickly arrived at the scene in the Riyad Al Salam area, and the taxi driver was stopped and an investigation was opened into the matter.
