HIBAPRESS – Taroudant
The vote counting and tabulation process continued in the electoral district of Southern Taroudant. Preliminary data available so far shows the Istiqlal party leading the results with 15,215 votes, equivalent to 40.7 percent of the total cast votes.
The Justice and Development Party came in second place with 11,202 votes, at 30 percent, followed by the National Rally of Independents with 5,201 votes, at 13.9 percent. The Authenticity and Modernity Party came in fourth place with 5,022 votes, at 13.4 percent.
In the remaining results, the Socialist Union of Popular Forces obtained 373 votes, followed by the Free Moroccan Party with 113 votes, the Left Alliance with 99 votes, then Progress and Socialism with 56 votes, and the Popular Movement with 45 votes.
The New Democrats also recorded 14 votes, the Social Democratic Movement 8 votes, and the Hope Party 4 votes, while Reform and Development received one vote.
The total number of cast votes, according to the available data, reached 37,354 votes, while the counting and tabulation process is still ongoing. This means that the current ranking remains preliminary and subject to change until all stages of result tabulation are completed and officially announced.
