HIBAPRESS – Tetouan
Issac Charia, from the Moroccan Free Party, announced that his party was unable to secure a parliamentary seat for the Tetouan constituency, following the announcement of the election results.
Charia said in a post he published on his Facebook account that the party waged an election campaign he described as "clean and exceptional," emphasizing that it took place, in his words, "with honor and integrity."
Charia added: "I regret to inform you that we were unable to achieve the desired results to reach the parliamentary seat," while expressing his pride in what he described as "winning the hearts of loved ones and the respect of citizens."
Charia extended his thanks to everyone who supported the party during the election campaign, and also thanked those who participated in the campaign with their time and resources, praising what he called "our clean, pure, and untainted votes."
The leader of the Moroccan Free Party linked his electoral participation to a vision of restoring Tetouan to its "radiance and civilization," considering that achieving this goal "is still out of reach."
Charia concluded his post by affirming his continued defense of the city, attaching his publication with the hashtag #Tetouan_deserves_someone_to_defend_it.
