HIBAPRESS – Abdellatif Baraka
Al-Khataat Ynja, candidate of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), settled the legislative elections in the Dakhla constituency, after managing to win a parliamentary seat following a strong and heated competition with Salouh Al-Jumani, in one of the most prominent electoral confrontations in the constituency.
Ynja's victory came after his recent move to the ranks of the Authenticity and Modernity Party, coming from the Independence Party, to contest this new political color in the legislative elections, facing a strong electoral opponent, amidst wide monitoring from the candidates' supporters.
The final hours of the voting and counting process witnessed a state of anticipation among Al-Khataat Ynja's supporters, who continued to await the final decision, before the results were announced, declaring his victory in the parliamentary seat.
Despite the strength of the competition and the intensity of the electoral race, both sides maintained mutual respect, in a scene that reflected that political and electoral competition can take place in a spirit of rivalry without turning into personal animosity.
With this victory, Al-Khataat Ynja opens a new chapter in his political career, while his supporters and loved ones are celebrating after long hours of waiting and anticipation, as the competition concludes with the seat being decided in favor of the Authenticity and Modernity candidate.
