HIBAPRESS – WAM
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad, Nasser Bourita, affirmed on Thursday in New York that "partnership is not built on unfounded arguments and sterile rhetoric," following his discussions with his Spanish counterpart, Jose Manuel Albares.
Bourita expressed, in a statement to the press, his regret that "the statements made by Spanish political actors show, unfortunately, that they do not grasp the value of this partnership, and worse still, they do not know today's Morocco, nor are they aware of the migration issue and how it is managed."
He stressed, in this regard, that the issues of migration, partnership, and good neighborliness "are not managed by bidding, arguments, and unfounded accusations."
The minister thereby expressed his regret for the continuation of this sterile debate to this day, which is fueled by "high-level political actors who continue to engage in gratuitous debates, arguments, and accusations, and undermine the value of this partnership."
