In a prominent political reaction reflecting the aftermath of the recent electoral entitlements in the Driouch province, Mohamed Benjdi, a representative of the Justice and Development Party (PJD), who was the candidate for the PJD list and unfortunately did not win a seat in the recent legislative elections, published a fiery and controversial post on his official account, through which he directed sharp criticism at a number of local actors, revealing the hidden secrets of the voting day.
Benjdi began his post by expressing his great disappointment in a number of members and heads of local councils whom he had respected, highlighting that the ballot box proved that some of them were involved in practices that undermined the integrity of the electoral process and reached the level of playing the role of "election brokers."
The PJD leader Benjdi did not limit himself to generalities, but rather announced his full responsibility for revealing a serious incident in the Driouch province, represented by a person loyal to a party that claims to fight corruption requesting intervention to remove the "Lamp" party's observer from the polling station in the commune of Oulad M'Ghar, a request that was met with a firm and immediate rejection because it was legally and ethically unacceptable.
On the other hand, in a step reflecting a degree of fairness and objectivity, Benjdi registered a testimony of truth in favor of the head of the Dar El Kebdani commune, confirming that despite his political differences with him, he remained neutral and did not compromise with anyone, a stance he considered worthy of note and that political history in the region would remember.
Benjdi concluded his post by emphasizing the move forward in revealing more facts and data with full responsibility, resorting to all necessary legal procedures to protect the votes of citizens, which are a trust, stressing that electoral integrity is a cornerstone that does not accept compromise or silence.
