Political and associative activist Ghita El Barrad, a councilor at the Oujda Municipal Council representing the Unified Socialist Party, passed away this Saturday evening in the city of Oujda following a sudden heart attack.
The deceased was considered one of the prominent struggle figures in the "City of a Thousand Years," having left a rich legacy of contributions in both the associative and political fields. She was known for her relentless advocacy for the issues of the local population and her courageous defense of development and service files within the municipal council.
