Venezuela: Opposition calls on Maduro to end violence

Venezuelan opposition candidate Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia, who claims victory in the July 28 presidential election, called on President Nicolas Maduro on Saturday “to put an end to the violence and persecution.”
