The judicial police in Tangier listened today to Mohamed El Hammami, candidate for the Independence Party in Tangier-Assilah, following a complaint filed by the candidate for the Left Alliance, Omar Ben Ajiba.
The complaint concerns the continued display of election posters and banners after the campaign ended, as well as an electoral dialogue filmed inside the headquarters of the Beni Makada district. According to the available data, a judicial officer documented the continued display of banners and posters after the legal deadline, while the filmed dialogue sparked controversy due to its execution within a facility belonging to a local authority during the election campaign. During his questioning, El Hammami did not deny the facts subject of the complaint, according to the same sources, but he held his assistants responsible for some of the violations, who were in charge of managing several details of the election campaign.
