HIBAPRESS – Casablanca
Local authorities in the Oulad Ziane area of the Rehamna province have begun demolition operations targeting illegal warehouses built unlawfully, as part of ongoing campaigns to combat unauthorized construction and organize the territorial domain.
According to local data, these interventions fall under the authorities' efforts to address the manifestations of urban sprawl, especially in areas experiencing increasing urban pressure and the associated imbalances in urban planning, particularly in the suburbs of Casablanca. These operations seek to enforce respect for the laws in force, while limiting the spread of illegal buildings that may pose a risk to public safety, as well as their negative impact on local development projects.
