A statement from the Ministry of the Royal Palaces, Protocol and Decorations announced that His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God support him, will chair tomorrow, Friday, at the Parliament headquarters, the opening of the first session of the first legislative year of the twelfth legislative term.
The following is the text of the statement:
"The Ministry of the Royal Palaces, Protocol and Decorations announces that His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God support him, will chair the opening of the first session of the first legislative year of the twelfth legislative term at the Parliament headquarters, on Friday, 27 Rabi' al-Thani 1448 AH, corresponding to October 9, 2026 AD.
On this occasion, His Majesty the King, may God bless him, will deliver a royal speech before the members of the two Houses of Parliament: the House of Representatives and the House of Councillors. The speech will be broadcast live on radio and television starting at 3:45 PM tomorrow."
