King Mohammed VI called on parliamentarians to work and realize the magnitude of the national responsibility they bear.
His Majesty said in his speech on the occasion of the opening of the first session of the first legislative year of the twelfth legislative term, addressing the representatives of the nation: "As you know, parliamentary mandate is a political commitment, and a moral contract, that binds you to the citizens."
So, may God protect you, His Majesty added, be at the level of this national responsibility that you bear, before God, before the citizens, and before history; in confirmation of God Almighty's saying: "Whoever comes with a good deed will have ten times the like of it." God Almighty has spoken the truth.
