The heavy rainfall witnessed in areas of the Taroudant and Tata provinces on Saturday evening, October 10th, caused a disruption in traffic on the road linking Ighrem in Taroudant province to Tekmout in Tata province, specifically at the level of the Dosawen tribal unit.
Faced with this situation, local authorities and elements of the Royal Gendarmerie mobilized to manage traffic flow and direct road users, preventing drivers from using sections experiencing heavy rainfall, to avoid potential dangers and ensure the safety of citizens.
The road remains cut off pending improvement in weather conditions and a decrease in the intensity of rainfall. Field interventions are expected to continue to monitor the situation and alert drivers to the necessity of exercising caution and avoiding risky crossings of damaged paths until traffic is safely restored.
