HIBAPRESS – Yassine Dammiri
Since his first appearance in the parliamentary chamber, the new Member of Parliament, Abdelaziz Barik, known on social media as Oussama Barik, has captured the attention of observers, not only as a new face within the legislative institution, but also due to his frequent presence alongside another Member of Parliament who has accompanied him in his various movements within the council, a scene that has drawn the attention of several observers of the backstage of the legislative institution.
This concerns Larbi Chriai, the Member of Parliament for the Settat constituency, who won a seat in the name of the Justice and Development Party and became known in the media by the nickname "مول التريبورتور" (مول التريبورتور – owner of the tricycle), in connection with his image in the municipality of Ouled Fares El Halla in the Beni Mellal region, where he adopted the three-wheeled bicycle as a means of transportation. This choice has marked his presence in media coverage and has made the nickname inseparable from his name for years.
Observers believe that Oussama Barik's constant presence with Larbi Chriai may be related to the new MP for the Midelt constituency's desire to benefit from his colleague's experience and knowledge of the intricacies of parliamentary work and the political figures present in the first chamber, especially since new faces need to learn the mechanisms of work, the procedures of the legislative institution, and the network of relationships within it at the beginning of their experience in the council.
In contrast, other observers link this closeness to political coordination between the Justice and Development Party, which Larbi Chriai represents, and the Party of Unity and Democracy, to which Oussama Barik belongs. This coordination also includes the Democratic Forces Front Party and the New Democrats Party, where a joint parliamentary group has been formed among the four parties in light of the recent legislative election results.
Between benefiting from parliamentary experience and political coordination, Larbi Chriai, known by the nickname "مول التريبورتور" (مول التريبورتور – owner of the tricycle), remains one of the names that has attracted attention in the parliamentary backstage during the early days of the new legislative term, especially since he is keen to always be present with Oussama Barik, offer him advice, and accompany him on his frequent media appearances from within the House of Representatives.
