A vandalism incident affecting agricultural properties in the "Afri" area, belonging to Iligh village in the Tata province, has stirred the discontent of those affected. Palm trees and irrigation equipment for crops were subjected to destruction, according to a post by one of those concerned with the incident, who directed accusations at unknown individuals.
According to the information in the post, the damages included the uprooting of a number of palm trees, the breaking of water pipes, and the disruption of water access to the crops. This attack, according to the post's author, targets a farm that he states belongs to his family, who inherited the land from their fathers and grandfathers, and have invested years of work, effort, and resources into expanding the palm plantations and ensuring irrigation water.
The affected party confirmed in the same post his refusal to respond to what he was subjected to in any form of retaliation, emphasizing the adherence to legal procedures and recourse to the competent authorities for his redress and to establish responsibility for the recorded damages.
This incident, pending clarification of its circumstances, reaffirms the importance of protecting agricultural properties and preserving the rights of land exploiters, with the necessity of resorting to the law to resolve any potential dispute over property or its exploitation. The identification of those involved and the circumstances of these acts remain contingent on the outcomes of legal procedures and competent investigations.
