HIBAPRESS – Abdelatif Barka
Posts circulating on social media have shed light on a case dating back about ten years, concerning Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri, the Minister Delegate in charge of Housing and Urban Policy. These posts have presented misleading information about a judicial ruling related to accusations of encroaching on private property.
In contrast, information released by a source close to her confirms that these narratives do not reflect the reality of the case or its judicial outcome.
The source clarified that the case dates back to the period when El Mansouri was heading the Communal Council of the city of Al Hoceima. According to his explanation, it is related to the management of public land liberation and the application of existing laws, not to the events that some circulating posts are trying to attribute to her. He emphasized that confusing the context of the case with the accusations being circulated would present an inaccurate picture of the file to the public opinion.
Regarding the judicial outcome, the same source confirmed that the minister has a final ruling acquitting her, with the complainant bearing the legal costs. He considered that the re-circulation of the case outside its full context ignores the result of the judicial proceedings.
