The regional office of the Union of Educational Administrators in Nador held a meeting on Monday, October 19, 2026, dedicated to studying the developments in educational and administrative situations in the province, and to address what the Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports describes as outdated imbalances and unacceptable practices that have negatively impacted the working conditions and professional dignity of educational administrators.
The office stated in its communiqué that the provincial directorate is characterized by random and improvised management, marked by a lack of good governance and a decline in the principles of transparency and equal opportunities, in addition to administrative imbalances and practices affecting a number of departments and offices, raising serious questions about the criteria for assigning responsibilities and respecting competencies and current laws.
The office also expressed its deep concern over the spread of administrative confusion to educational institutions, by assigning tasks and practices to committees without clarity in their competencies and legal framework in the absence of controls governing public administration, which threatens the principle of unity of administrative responsibility and places educational administrators in complex professional situations.
In the same context, the office strongly condemned what it considers systematic exclusion and restriction targeting male and female educational administrators, in addition to the refusal to continue institutional dialogue and the lack of responsiveness to meeting and coordination requests from the provincial director, considering this approach as reinforcing the logic of unilateral decision-making and excluding social partners.
In conclusion of its statement, the regional office affirmed that this warning protest action constitutes a clear message to all concerned parties that ignoring legitimate demands will only lead to further tension, and announced its readiness to engage in all legitimate forms of struggle to defend the dignity and gains of the educational administrator.
