Police elements in the Ain Chok security district in Casablanca city, in the early hours of Friday, October 23rd, managed to apprehend a 31-year-old individual with a criminal record, on suspicion of his involvement in a case related to possession and trafficking of drugs and psychotropic substances.
The suspect was apprehended in one of Casablanca's neighborhoods while caught red-handed possessing and trafficking drugs. A subsequent search of his person and belongings led to the discovery of 1873 blotters of the synthetic drug "LSD," in addition to a sum of money suspected to be proceeds from this criminal activity.
The suspect has been placed under police custody pending judicial investigation, which is being conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecution, in order to uncover all circumstances and details of this case, as well as to identify any other potential extensions of this criminal activity.
