HIBAPRESS – A. Mahyawi
The Regional Investment Center of Fes-Meknes continues to strengthen its commitment to supporting women's entrepreneurship, considering it a fundamental lever for achieving economic and social development, through structured programs aimed at empowering women and enhancing their presence in the regional economic fabric.
In this context, the center launched the "Madam Entrepreneur" program, which falls within a strategic vision aimed at supporting women project holders in various stages, whether in the idea, founding, or development phases. This reflects a firm conviction of the importance of encouraging women's economic initiative, due to its role in achieving equal opportunities and enhancing women's economic independence.
Positive results and continuous momentum
Since its launch in 2021, the program has succeeded in supporting a total of 738 women project holders, within one of the eleven structured initiatives overseen by the center. During 2025, the program saw a new boost through the support of 159 beneficiaries in the Fes-Meknes region, within the framework of a field dynamic that included various prefectures and provinces.
These efforts have been strengthened through the organization of field tours (Roadshow) that enabled the center's services to be brought closer to the beneficiaries and facilitated their access to the support and accompaniment system.
Integrated training and dedicated accompaniment
The "Madam Entrepreneur" program is based on an integrated offer that includes 11 training units, designed according to a gradual approach that responds to the needs of women entrepreneurs, from the stage of developing the idea to implementing the project on the ground.
The program includes a set of key themes, including:
Raising awareness of entrepreneurship and encouraging the spirit of initiative
Individual follow-up to develop ideas and transform them into feasible projects
Enhancing female leadership and self-confidence
Preparing business plans according to the Business Model Canvas model
Training in the fields of finance, taxation, and the latest developments in the 2026 Finance Law
Introduction to sources of funding and types of income-generating activities
Facilitating access to public tenders
Developing digital marketing skills and building brand identity
The program also supports beneficiaries through a one-to-one follow-up system during the months of April and May 2026, through in-person and remote meetings, in addition to direct communication mechanisms that allow for immediate answers to inquiries and the resolution of difficulties.
Towards an integrated model of entrepreneurial transformation
The role of the Regional Investment Center is not limited to administrative follow-up, but goes beyond that towards providing an integrated path for entrepreneurial transformation, based on training, coaching, and continuous support.
Through this initiative, the Regional Investment Center of Fes-Meknes affirms its position as a pivotal actor in supporting investment and stimulating economic initiatives, and a key partner in empowering women entrepreneurs, which contributes to achieving comprehensive and sustainable development at the regional level.
