For personal reasons.. Thierry Henry bids farewell to the French Olympic team
The French Football Federation announced on Monday that Thierry Henry has left his position as coach of the Olympic team for personal reasons.
Henry’s decision comes about a week after he led the French Olympic team to win the silver medal in the football competition at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The French Federation revealed in its statement that Henry had left the training of the Olympic team of the “Coqs” for personal reasons, and the text of the statement indicated: “Thierry Henry, the coach of the French Olympic team, decides to terminate his contract, which extends until June 2025, for personal reasons for him.

The Football Association regretted the coach’s decision to leave his post and added in its statement: “Naturally, we regret this decision because Henry managed to achieve the goal we set for him, winning the silver medal at the Olympic Games for the first time in 40 years and the gold medal at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
The French Federation, through its president Philippe Diallo, thanked coach Henry for what he brought to the Olympic team of the “Coqs”, declaring: “President Philippe Diallo thanked Henry for the excellent work he accomplished as head of the technical staff of the Olympic team.”
On the other hand, “Al-Ghazal Al-Asmar” thanked the French Football Federation and all those who helped him live the experience of training at the French Olympics, saying: “I would like to thank the French Football Federation and its president, Philippe Diallo, who offered me this wonderful opportunity.
He added: “Winning the silver medal for my country at the Olympic Games will remain the greatest pride of my life. I am very grateful to the French Federation, the players, the technical staff and the supporters of the national team, who gave me this opportunity to live an enchanting experience like this.
