“ARMA” organizes an awareness campaign to maintain the cleanliness of Tangier’s beaches (photos)

Yesterday, Thursday, August 22, the cleaning company “ARMA” organized an awareness campaign to maintain the cleanliness of the “Ghandouri” beach in the city of Tangier, which included many sports and awareness activities.

In a statement to the newspaper “Heba Press”, Rachid Akdi, head of the cleaning company “Arma” in Tangier, indicated that this awareness campaign, which will last fifteen days, was carried out since it initially included the beach of “Amiraux” before it was the turn of the beach “Ghandouri” in Tangier and aims to raise awareness and educate vacationers, including children, on the need to maintain the cleanliness of the beach.

The same official added that this awareness campaign also aims to establish a culture of volunteering and to make participants aware of the importance of maintaining clean beaches through an approach of civil and citizen environmental behavior.

The awareness campaign was also timely to draw attention to the danger of organic and paper waste, as well as plastic, among total waste, and their danger to sea water, fishery resources and the health of citizens.
