Al-Shamaya.. A child was killed by drowning in a fountain in a rest area

A child drowned yesterday Thursday in a fountain at a rest area in the Shamaiya region.

According to a local source, the child was with his family and they stopped at a rest area in Al-Shamaya, before the child walked towards the fountain and fell into it.

The same source added that the girl’s family noticed her disappearance after a few minutes and that she was found in a state of serious suffocation inside the fountain.

The girl was quickly transferred to hospital to receive the necessary first aid, before breathing her last.
