Yesterday, Tuesday, Chakib Benmoussa, Minister of National Education, Primary Education and Sports, carried out an inspection visit to several schools in the areas affected by the Al Haouz earthquake, as part of monitoring the progress of the rehabilitation and reconstruction program. educational institutions.

This visit is of particular importance, as it included a number of communities that were hit by the Al Haouz earthquake during the month of September 2023, due to which some educational institutions were damaged completely or partially, while the ministry was working to develop and download a general program for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of damaged institutions, with the aim of rehabilitating the educational offer in these areas, and ensuring the continuity of the public educational service in optimal conditions for the benefit of children and the population.

According to a statement from the ministry, more than 19 thousand students were received from 169 qualified educational institutions during this academic year.

The ministry worked to develop and implement a general program for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of damaged institutions, as the provinces of Taroudant and Al Haouz were left without school tents after the progress made in the process of reconstruction and rehabilitation of educational institutions.
