Heba Press/. Rabat
Hind Bennani Al-Ratl, a member of the parliamentary group for Justice and Development, said that students who compete to pass the competitive examinations of various schools and higher institutes suffer from the distance, given that most of them are concentrated in a group of big cities.
Bennani Al-Ratl explained in a written question she addressed to the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, who said: “We know, Mr. Minister, that access to various schools and higher institutes after obtaining a baccalaureate is done by passing exams. We also know that most of them are concentrated in a group of large cities, where various students from all over Morocco go to take these matches.
The member of the party’s parliamentary group added that the biggest problem facing these students, especially those in distant cities and destinations, is the distance from their place of residence and their travel between different institutes in which the dates of the matches are held in the same period and one day apart, which makes them suffer from two problems. This clearly hinders their access to the matches and violates the principle of equality and equal opportunities compared to students residing in or near these cities, which is a violation of the principle of equal opportunities. is considered a violation of the principles of the Constitution.
Subsequently, the same parliamentarian asked the minister to reveal the measures he will take this year to facilitate the process of access to matches and to activate the principle of equality and equal opportunities for all.
