Tangier security arrests person in possession of narcotics at train station

On Saturday, September 7, members of the brigade responsible for the security of the station of the Security Province of Tangier were able to arrest a 30-year-old man red-handed in possession of 1,200 Rivotril narcotic tablets, in addition to a sum of money and mobile phones.

The suspect was arrested at the train station as he was heading towards the city of Meknes. He was caught red-handed transporting and possessing a shipment of seized psychotropic substances.

The arrested suspect was placed in theoretical custody pending the judicial investigation carried out under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor, in order to discover all the circumstances and circumstances of this case, as well as to identify all the persons potentially involved in the introduction and smuggling of this type of drug.
