“Heba Press” learned from its own sources that elements of the Maritime Center of the Royal Gendarmerie of Laayoune, in coordination with its Spanish counterpart, have opened investigations into the conditions and circumstances of the arrival of a Moroccan fishing boat on the island of Fuerteventura. The investigations will reveal a set of data and details concerning the boat trip between Tan-Tan and the Spanish port.
The fishing boat named “Abu Bakr-4”, registered under the number 720-3, has raised a wave of questions in professional circles, after its arrival in one of the ports of the island of Fuerteventura in the Canaries. It left the port of Tan-Tan a few days ago for a fishing trip on the local coast.
According to Spanish media, the boat arrived at one of the ports of the Spanish Canary Islands, with seven migrants on board, who were rescued by the crew of the boat in question, while they were on a boat tossed by the waves off the coast. The same sources confirmed that the Spanish authorities responded to a call from the captain of the boat, after it docked at the port, the migrants were evacuated and assistance was provided to them.
