Heba Press learned from a private and trustworthy source that a road accident that occurred yesterday, Monday, September 16, at the “Boualma” turn of the national road connecting the regions of Al Hoceima and Driouch, resulted in the death of a person in the Medar hospital who was among the passengers coming from the community of Tversite, after suffering serious injuries, 07 people had light to moderate injuries, 1 was seriously injured and 1 died.
According to the same sources, the details of the accident are due to the overturning of a bus carrying passengers, which was arriving from Oujda and heading towards the province of Al Hoceima, after entering a bend due to a brake failure.
The accident resulted in a number of passengers suffering fractures and injuries of varying severity due to the force of the collision with a rocky slope. They were transferred to the regional hospital of the Driouch region’s influence zone to receive the necessary treatment. However, the accident resulted in one person dying from his serious injuries and 11 injured people were treated.
