Taarabt beats Rahimi to win distinguished award in Emirates

Moroccan Adel Taarabt, a player for the Emirati team Al-Nasr, was named the best player of the month of August in the ADNOC Professional League for the 2024-2025 season.

Taarabt managed to win the award after beating his compatriot Sufyan Rahimi, Al Ain player, Othman Kamara, Sharjah striker, Anatole Abang, Al Bataeh player, and Sardar Azmoun, Shabab Al Ahly striker.

Taarabt has scored 3 goals and made two assists in the matches he has played so far in the UAE League.

The month’s awards reflected the dominance of the Al-Nasr team, as goalkeeper Abdullah Al-Tamimi won the Best Goalkeeper award, while the team’s coach Alfred Schroeder won the Best Coach award.

It is worth noting that voting for the awards began by fans last Tuesday via the UAE Professional League website and continued for 24 hours.
