37 primary school educational establishments and two secondary school establishments at the regional directorate of the Ministry of National Education, Primary Education and Sports in Guersif are participating in the “Leadership Establishments” project for the new academic season 2024-2025.
According to data from the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of National Education, Primary Education and Sports, the number of students enrolled in the management establishments of the province of Guercif rose during the current season to 16,769 in primary school, while the number of students in primary school and preparatory secondary school reached 2,094.
It is known that the educational institutions that were included in this type of reform, within the Regional Directorate of Guersif, benefited from monitoring, follow-up and supervision in the field from the regional director and certain executives of the Authority for Supervision, Control and Administration of Education, which allowed them to obtain impressive results in terms of academic success for the benefit of students, and to receive numerous praises from the various stakeholders and families.
The “Pioneering Institutions” model aims to shape the desired characteristics of public schools through a participatory approach that meets the expectations of students, their families and educational frameworks, by raising the quality of basic learning and monitoring it, developing the skills of students, reducing school waste and strengthening the openness of male and female learners.
