Spanish security services arrested a young Moroccan in his twenties on the island of Aljuzérat, accused of having committed a murder on French soil in the middle of last month.
The detainee was on a return trip to Morocco, after being accused of committing a murder against his neighbor in the Argentelles region of France.
The French victim had protested against his young Moroccan neighbor because of the noise, but the young man pulled out a gun and pointed it at his neighbor, killing him and then fleeing.
French authorities had circulated a search warrant for the accused detainee, who is now in Madrid prison awaiting his presentation to French authorities.
