The High Commission for Planning warned of the possibility of a further increase in prices in Morocco during the remaining months of the current year, particularly in the food and consumer goods sectors.
In this regard, the High Commission for Planning indicated that the inflation rate is expected to see a slight increase during the last quarter of 2024, when it will increase to around 1.2 percent.
Prices of many food and consumer products remain high despite the recent quarterly decline, including red meat, which has continued to rise, as well as certain types of fruit.
