Heba Press: Oujda
After that, the head of the Jarada group and his deputy made the decision to approve membership in the “East Distribution” group. During the ordinary session in October.
The opposition, which constitutes the majority, issued a statement denouncing what happened in the proceedings of the session, as it was reported that the leader of the group had taken advantage of his boycott of the proceedings of the ordinary session of the month of October, announced in a press release. statement to the population on social networks and the refusal of the opposition to receive summons and points for the session in protest against the non-inclusion of the president due to the impeachment motion presented by two thirds of the members of the session. and deprives us of our constitutional rights, including the right to include and present items on the sessional agenda, especially at critical times when the people need their issues and concerns addressed.
The communication adds that the decision to join the group of groups is tainted by legal violations, since the Jarada group was authorized to join the group of groups “East for distribution” counting the yes of five members out of 30 members, this which concretely confirms the clear, explicit and deliberate violation of the requirements of the regulatory law which stipulates that the absolute majority of members exercising their functions must vote yes, as stipulated in article 43 of law 113-14. The President did not take this principle into account either. of the participatory approach, and did not respect the opinion of certain members who expressed their absolute refusal to open any discussion on this aforementioned point.
The communication adds: “This is why we, members of the opposition, have decided to appeal against the annulment of the decision of the last session in October, because the process was carried out in a manner marred by violations and without respect for the law. We are also determined to continue the fight alongside the population and to adhere to all their issues, bearing the same concerns and defending their interests in different ways, which the law and the Constitution authorize us.
We also ask the president of the Jerada group, adds the same report, and the local authorities responsible for controlling and monitoring the progress of the group’s sessions in a manner that takes into account the requirements of the Moroccan law and constitution, on this that a law or chapter was passed by the president to join the group of groups with only five votes from the first session of the October session?
In conclusion, we express our strong condemnation of the fierce attacks against members to distort their reputation and undermine their credibility in the struggle, based on false data and a simple and incorrect understanding of the law that governs territorial groups.
