Local and security authorities in Marrakech have intensified their campaigns against cafes and restaurants serving shisha, in addition to their efforts to free public property in several neighborhoods of the city.
According to available information, these campaigns have resulted in a number of offenses against cafes and restaurants that serve shisha to their customers, as large quantities of molasses and hookah tools have been seized.
This campaign also included the liberation of public property from its occupants, with the seizure of a number of advertising billboards and fruit juice carts in a group of neighborhoods in Marrakech.
These measures are part of the authorities’ ongoing efforts to protect consumers in cafes and restaurants, and to ensure the safety and security of passers-by on the city’s streets.
