The Ministry of National Education, Primary Education and Sports, under the leadership of new Minister Saad Berrada, published a memorandum which it distributed to central, regional and regional officials, demanding the identification of new mechanisms to manage the proportional retirement process for employees who wish to retire. before reaching the legal age, as part of improving human resources management in the education sector.
The ministerial note specifies the conditions to benefit from this system, namely that the civil servant concerned must have completed a period of service of at least 30 years as of August 31, 2025, the period of seniority in the administration being calculated, the the exception of certain periods such as temporary suspension and administrative sanctions, where seniority is calculated with deduction of periods of temporary unavailability for various reasons.
The ministerial note also calls on the employees concerned to submit their file electronically via the designated platform: retirement.men.gov.ma during the period from November 13 to 22, 2024, the steps including the entry of personal and administrative data, the extracting the file, and signing documents from direct officials.
The ministry stressed that the aim of these procedures is to facilitate the process of submitting requests for relative retirement, to improve transparency through electronic platforms, in addition to creating the conditions for the successful launch of the next academic season.
