HIBAPRESS-RABAT-MTL The Ministry of Transport and Logistics participated in the work of the workshop devoted to the “Compensation and reduction system for carbon emissions in international aviation (CORSIA) and National Action Plan for reduction of carbon emissions (SAP)”, which was held from October 22 to 24, 2024 at the headquarters of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO) in Rabat.
This workshop, organized jointly by ACAO and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), aimed to deepen participants’ knowledge of CORSIA and SAP, and to learn about the latest advances in ICAO programs and initiatives in this regard.
The event brought together representatives of ICAO, ACAO, civil aviation authorities of Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, as well as representatives of airlines and establishments responsible for the management of airports in the member states of the Arab Organization of ACAO.
