Yesterday evening (Wednesday), members of the Judicial Center of the Royal Gendarmerie of the Target Brigade of the province of Al Hoceima were able to arrest a Renault 12 car in the commune of Katama, which was carrying counterfeit registration plates and 130 kilograms of drugs Shera.
A well-informed source told Heba Press that the people in the car fled as soon as they saw the Royal Gendarmerie patrol, leaving behind the suspect car loaded with drugs.
The same source adds that investigations are still underway to determine the identity of the fugitives.
This operation is part of security sweep campaigns supervised by the regional commander of the Royal Gendarmerie in Al Hoceima, with the aim of fighting all forms of crime in the region.
