As part of the celebrations of the 69th anniversary of the glorious Independence Day, the governor of the province of Guercif, Abdel Salam El Hattash, accompanied by his accompanying delegation, supervised the mass circumcision ceremony organized at the regional hospital.
The event was part of the Olive Festival, during which around 50 children benefited from free circumcision after undergoing complete medical examinations. Medicines and gifts were also distributed to children participating in this health initiative.
The operation took place under the supervision of an experienced medical team with extensive experience in this field.

A medical and awareness campaign at the blood filtration center
In the same context, the Federation for the Development of Renal Insufficiency Associations of the Eastern Region, in cooperation with the Social Solidarity Association of Renal Insufficiants of Guersif, organized the third edition of the medical and awareness at the blood filtration center of the regional hospital.
The campaign, which took place on Saturday November 16, was distinguished by the slogan “Kidney health for all, a path towards equitable access to care and ideal therapeutic practice”.
A number of official figures participated in this activity, including the Secretary General of Guercif Province, Parliamentary Representative Mohamed Al-Barnishi and Parliamentary Advisor Saeed Al-Barnishi, as well as the heads of territorial groups and Ministries of Affairs foreign.

Free medical examinations and consultations
The medical campaign program included free medical examinations to detect kidney diseases, as well as scientific and medical consultations to support patients suffering from kidney failure.
The activity also included awareness and training presentations for health personnel working at the blood filtration center. This initiative was greatly appreciated by citizens and opened a new horizon for the improvement of health care in the region.
