Heba Press – Ahmed Al-Musaed
Community authorities in the coastal village of Arkaman, Nador province, have demolished a number of buildings at risk of collapse, including abandoned houses and villas located on the community’s beach.
This campaign aims to strengthen public safety and avoid the risks associated with structures likely to collapse, particularly those located on beaches popular with vacationers, without forgetting the neutralization of abandoned places that could be exploited for illegal activities, as well as their impact on the aesthetics of the beach.
In the same vein, local authorities, under the supervision of the commander of the Kabdanah command and in the presence of public forces, began today Tuesday to demolish a group of buildings at risk of collapse in the Jurf region Al-Rum and the Arkaman Beach Villa District, lest this could cause a disaster.
It is worth noting that a member of the Auxiliary Forces, aged 24, was killed a few days ago while standing guard on the beach of Arkman village past the wall of an abandoned villa in the district of “villas”. collapsed on top of him, where he died instantly.
