Real Madrid won its 36th title in the Spanish football championship on Saturday after its victory against Cadiz (3-0) and the defeat of its most immediate pursuer FC Barcelona (4-2) against Girona.

Four days before the end of La Liga, the Whites are 14 points ahead of the Catalans and 13 ahead of Girona, second in the standings.
